Interview with Joey from USA

Interview with Joey from USA
Joey is a young American and just finish his college study. His first impression of Taiwan is that everything would like Mainland China and knew it has its democracy and military. His favorite food is Radish cake with egg(菜頭糕), soybean milk and pearl milk tea. His favorite place is Wulai town, New Taipei city, where I brought him to a trail called Datung Mountain trail(大桶山步道) and the hot spring. His suggestion for Taiwan is hope government can build more safe hiking trails for people or maintain the facilities of those hiking places.

I met Joey in my Canadian Joey’s place but we didn’t talk much at that time. I later brought he to the trail in Wulai and was impressed with his hiking experience. I didn’t know he love hiking that much. I also appreciate his passion for Banjo instrument and thanks for sharing the music with us.

Good Luck, Joey.

An interview with Remy

I met Remy in a hike in Wuliaojin (五寮尖), and he is a really handsome American with the talent of writing and music. His first impression of Taiwan is a land full of toys. Taiwan has a hot weather, surfing areas and biking routes. His favorite food in Taiwan is tofu or stinky tofu, tomatoes and some vegetables. His favorite place is Dulan (都蘭), Taidong. “I went there in a scooter trip in 3000 meters high for 10 days, and I stoped by a surfing hostel there. I went surfing later and practice beach Yoga with a new friends, and I ended up going to his house for a dinner. I shared my music with him later after dinner.” He said. “My second favorite place is Dragon Cave (龍洞) in Keelung, you can do rock climbing there and deep water solo.” He added.

He really concern about air pollution in Taiwan and hope that government can level up regulation in environment, and it would be helpful for Taiwan nature beauty. Also, we need to care about animal and don’t throw them to the street.

“Besides, my girlfriend once lost my scarf and called the police for a help in 2 am. A police later drove to the spot to look for her scarf and got it back to her. Well, compare with USA police, Taiwan police is really amazing and care about people.” Added he again.
